Greg McNab

DIRECTOR & CO-CHAIR

Greg McNab is a former mechanical engineer and partner in the Securities Group of the international law firm Dentons' Toronto office. Greg’s practice includes working with financial services, resource and energy companies both domestically and internationally, with a large portion of that work involving opportunities between Canada and Australia. Dentons is one of the largest law firms in the world with offices all around the world in major finance centres.

Smita Challu Tulsani

CO-CHAIR

Smita Challu Tulsani serves as Global Leader, MarTech & AI at World Vision International, where she leads the integration of customer-focused strategy, technology-driven innovation, and revenue impact, translating emerging tech solutions into real-world applications at scale.
With a career spanning telecom, manufacturing, media, and social impact, Smita brings global cultural acuity and deep product-market expertise to the markets she serves. Her leadership is defined by a commitment to integrity, authenticity, empathy, and professionalism, values that underpin her approach to delivering impactful solutions in high-stakes environments. She is an active voice on inclusive AI through the Canadian Marketing Association and Women in AI, and holds a Chartered Marketer designation, a Bachelor of Engineering, and an MBA.

A.J. Nichols

DIRECTOR

A.J. Nichols is BHP’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs for North America, overseeing external affairs, government relations, Indigenous and Aboriginal relations, and communications across the U.S. and Canada.
Before joining BHP in 2024, he spent 17 years at Vale S.A. and Vale Base Metals, where he most recently served as the Global Director of Corporate Affairs, based in Toronto. His leadership roles included serving as the Chief Representative and General Manager of Corporate Affairs for Vale in China, based in Beijing, and Head of Corporate Affairs for Asia Pacific in Singapore.
Earlier in his career, A.J. was Chief of Staff to the Canadian Ambassador in Washington and a variety of roles at the Canadian Consulate in New York City. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and MBA from Dalhousie University and has also completed the Stanford University LEAD program from the Graduate School of Business.

Ava Tunney

SECRETARY

Originally from Ontario, Ava graduated from the University of Guelph in 2022, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in international development with an emphasis in political economy and administrative change, alongside a minor in business. Following graduation, Ava joined the international law firm Dentons in Toronto as a Marketing Assistant. Throughout her time at Dentons, Ava played a key role in supporting the firm’s Profile and Client Development team on a wide range of client-facing initiatives, including events and communications. In 2024, Ava moved to Melbourne to pursue her dream of living in Australia. Ava joined the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce in 2025, bringing a fresh perspective to the Chamber as a young Canadian living abroad.

Tom Taylor

HONOURARY MEMBER

As Trade & Investment Director for Investment NSW based in Toronto, Tom leads on attracting Canadian investment into Sydney and the state of New South Wales and supports NSW exports into Canada. Having worked within economic development for Japanese, British and now Australian governmental organisations across a range of sectors and holding an MSc in International Management, Tom is experienced in business development and project management within cross-boarder trade and foreign direct investment. Tom’s current focus is working with companies within the agrifood; mining, energy and resources; and technology sectors.

Garrett Tone

HONOURARY MEMBER

Garrett Tone is the Executive Director, Life Sciences for Invest Ontario, the province’s economic development agency. Over the last 17 years, Garrett has held a variety of senior leadership roles for both large multinationals and health tech start-ups across an array of industries including MedTech, In-vitro Diagnostics and Biotech. He’s worked with clients around the world, namely the US, Europe, Asia and Australia and with his experience, Garrett brings a unique, well rounded and pan-industry approach to securing high-profile investments on behalf of the province.

James Duggleby

SUSTAINABILITY LIAISON

As a Director at EMM Consulting in Canada, James leads the company’s local focus on operational excellence, strategic growth, innovation and approach to project delivery. James has technical, team and project management experience in hydrogeology, groundwater resource evaluation and development, environmental assessment and compliance. James has managed and directed multidisciplinary projects in both industry and consulting roles for diverse energy, infrastructure, mining, water, and international development projects in Australia, Africa, Canada, Europe, Middle East, and South America.
Founded in Australia, EMM combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of big picture sustainable business strategy to deliver solutions that drive positive environmental, economic, and social impact while creating long-term value for clients. James works closely with clients in Canada and Australia to support their business objectives, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance.

Chris Moore

MEMBER-AT-LARGE

Chris Moore serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Anchoram Canada Ltd, a leading consulting firm specializing in integrated security and technology solutions for private and public service sectors. In this role, Chris is responsible for shaping corporate strategy, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring operational excellence across Anchoram’s multidisciplinary consulting practices in Canada working closely with the Anchoram global leadership team in Canberra, ACT Australia.
With a career spanning strategic leadership, operational oversight, and innovation, Chris brings deep expertise in aligning complex consulting services with evolving market demands and client objectives. His leadership is defined by a commitment to integrity, authenticity, empathy, and professionalism—values that underpin Anchoram’s approach to delivering impactful solutions in high-stakes environments.

David Isherwood

MEMBER-AT-LARGE

David Isherwood serves as Vice President and Mining Sector Lead on Turner & Townsend’s Global Energy and Natural Resources Leadership Team. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic growth, ESG planning, and operational delivery across the global energy and natural resources portfolio.
With over two decades of experience, David has held senior leadership positions at AtkinsRéalis, Wood E&I (now WSP), Jacobs, and AECOM, where he led sustainable mining, energy, tailings, water, and environmental market sectors. His expertise spans the full asset lifecycle—from early development and permitting to operational delivery and responsible closure—across mining, oil and gas, renewables, nuclear, transportation, and government sectors in the Americas, Middle East, and Australia.
David is known for partnering with clients and regulators to deliver technically complex and commercially challenging projects, aligning capital investments with corporate objectives and evolving market demands.
