Greg McNab

DIRECTOR & CHAIR

Greg McNab is a former mechanical engineer and partner in the Securities Group of the international law firm Dentons' Toronto office. Greg’s practice includes working with financial services, resource and energy companies both domestically and internationally, with a large portion of that work involving opportunities between Canada and Australia. Dentons is one of the largest law firms in the world with offices all around the world in major finance centres.

Smita Challu Tulsani

CO-CHAIR

As the Customer Strategy & Martech Practice Leader at Akcelo Canada, Smita focuses on driving business strategy and growth. Her diverse background includes senior leadership positions in sectors like telecom, manufacturing, media, and the social impact sector, providing her with unique perspectives in her endeavors. Smita serves on various boards and industry advisory councils, lending her expertise to make a difference. She is an active member of the Canadian Marketing Association AI Council and CX Council.
Smita was recently shortlisted for the Women of the Year award by Women in IT and nominated for Women of Influence by RBC Women of Influence 2023. Demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to technological innovation, Smita also founded an AI-based start-up in 2021.

Tom Taylor

HONOURARY MEMBER

As Trade & Investment Director for Investment NSW based in Toronto, Tom leads on attracting Canadian investment into Sydney and the state of New South Wales and supports NSW exports into Canada. Having worked within economic development for Japanese, British and now Australian governmental organisations across a range of sectors and holding an MSc in International Management, Tom is experienced in business development and project management within cross-boarder trade and foreign direct investment. Tom’s current focus is working with companies within the agrifood; mining, energy and resources; and technology sectors.

Jacob Haeusler

CO-CHAIR, Young Professionals Committee

Jacob is the Executive Director at AFL Canada, the AFL's Official International affiliate in Canada. Hailing from regional Victoria, Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education in 2012 but a passion for Sports Business drove him to follow a career in that sector.

Relocated to Canada in 2014, Jacob resides in Ottawa. He has guided the national competition through a period of growth during the pandemic and is driven to continue that growth moving forward.

James Duggleby

ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY LIAISON

As a Director at EMM Consulting in Canada, James leads the company’s local focus on operational excellence, strategic growth, innovation and approach to project delivery. James has technical, team and project management experience in hydrogeology, groundwater resource evaluation and development, environmental assessment and compliance. James has managed and directed multidisciplinary projects in both industry and consulting roles for diverse energy, infrastructure, mining, water, and international development projects in Australia, Africa, Canada, Europe, Middle East, and South America.
Founded in Australia, EMM combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of big picture sustainable business strategy to deliver solutions that drive positive environmental, economic, and social impact while creating long-term value for clients. James works closely with clients in Canada and Australia to support their business objectives, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance.

Cyrus Sadaghiani

MEMBER-AT-LARGE

Cyrus has 20 years of experience in delivering and optimizing commercial strategies across diverse, global industries. He specializes in route-to-market, brand commercialization, and stakeholder relations, developing strategies driven by technology, data, and analytics. An advocate for forward-thinking bespoke strategies, Cyrus is passionate about accelerating revenue growth, business development, and cultivating corporate culture.
Beginning his career in the consumer packaged goods industry, Cyrus has been responsible for developing and leading global teams within the SaaS, DTC technology, alcohol beverage, and cannabis industries across North America and Europe, working with companies such as Molson Coors, Clorox, and Canopy Growth. He currently serves as the COO of By the Numbers.
