Based in Truganina the Clerk – Transport is the first point of call for drivers and customers. This role involves general administration work, tracking all road pickups and deliveries, and managing our drivers, and proactively providing professional communications to the customer and Contract Managers.
About the role:
• Coordinating all daily dispatch of trucks and pick-ups from our Warehouse.
• Controlling the yard to ensure turnaround times of trucks is met.
• Working closely with truck drivers, warehouse staff and other staff members to ensure the delivery schedule is met.
• Use SAP /Excel etc
• Provide an exceptionally high level of Customer service both face to face and over the phone.
• Identify and drive efficiencies and improvements in the process.
• Shifts range: PM: 18:00 to 6:00, 4 Days on 4 Days off.
What we want from you:
• Ability to work autonomously and provide timely, safe and effective advice to drivers on the road.
• Must have administration background, demonstrating a high level of accuracy & attention to detail.
• Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment.
• Advance’s computer skills
• Must be a team player.
