About the role:  

Reporting into the Financial Accountant, you will oversee the Supporter Services team as they process donations; ensuring best practise, timely and accurate banking and receipting of funds, and quality control of data. 

You will be an engaged manager and continue to encourage a donor-centric culture in your team.
 
Role responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Manage Regular Giving processing, On-line Giving data extraction and processing, and Direct Mail outsourcing data uploads
  • Oversee batching, entering, and processing donations during high volume periods
  • Manage General Ledger Posting Report extraction (as well as other scheduled and ad hoc queries and reports as needed)
  • Manage rostering and leave approvals as well as a small group of long-term volunteers
  • Monitor activities of Supporter Relations Coordinators to ensure compliance with procedures, accurate data entry and excellence in every interaction
  • Manage any escalated complaints/concerns to resolution, provide coaching and feedback as needed
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to donors and internal stakeholders alike
  • Be the subject matter expert for Raiser’s Edge in the Supporter Services team

You will have:
  
A positive attitude and a true passion for excellent donor care and be able to foster that passion in your direct reports.
  

  • Strong data entry/processing skills and experience, with high-volume donations or accounts receivable
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven experience in the usage and administration of Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook including mail-merge functions) to an intermediate level
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and PCI compliance requirements
  • People management experience – able to inspire, mentor and motivate a high performing team
  • Great stakeholder management skills, build strong relationships both internally and externally
