My client is a well-known holiday booking platform that helps their customers with new travel experiences.

This role will be responsible for providing administration support to the HR Manager as well as working with all areas of the business. Due to the fast-paced nature of the business, a great attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required. This role will be required to liaise between interstate and international offices and some travel may be required at times.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Preparing and posting job adverts and liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Screening applications and arranging interviews and participating in the selection process, and administering pre-employment tests as required
  • Maintain data and candidate source, cost per hire
  • Administrator and monitor new hire orientation programs
  • Maintaining and updating employee spreadsheets ensuring details are all correct and kept up to date, whilst keeping track of new starters and leavers
  • Assistance in maintenance of company organisation charts
  • Providing general HR administration support
  • Preparing correspondence, employment contracts, forms and reports and processing confidential information and documents
  • Managing sensitive and confidential matters
  • Providing relevant HR information to employees and managers with regards to leave and benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies
  • Assist HR Manager in coordinating all quarterly WHS meetings across both AUS sites
  • Coordinate First Aid Officers and Fire Wardens in accordance with local building regulations
  • Ensuring that all staff leave, and sickness records are up to date and have been recorded
  • Gathering data and statistical reports, and maintaining statistical information
  • Coordinate all staff training

Key Skills and experience;

  • Experience in a similar role within HR Support, especially around recruitment and on-boarding process
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • High attention of detail and accuracy
  • Competent IT skills – especially with reporting
  • Have excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Ability to operate in a busy environment
  • Basic budget management and calculation
