Patrick Bertrand

CHAIR

Patrick leads the Bombardier Commercial Aircraft Regional Support Office in Sydney since December 2015. The office covers the Oceania region, supporting eleven airlines, including QantasLink, Air Nelson (Air New Zealand) and Air Niugini. He previously led an engineering team as part of the biggest aviation program in the history of Canada, the Cseries. Prior to this, Patrick worked as a Field Service Representative in the USA and Spain. Before joining Bombardier, he worked for different airlines in Canada, including Air Canada.

Lesley Rogan

SECRETARY

Lesley is the founder of Visa Application Australia, an international student agency specialising in study placements, and student & graduate visa services.

Prior to this, for 15 years Lesley worked for Drake International, whose roots are proudly Canadian. During her time with Drake, she built and ran unique service lines including an online English school (Englishlink.com), a website supporting skilled migrants (PrepareforAustralia.com.au), and the international education agency Drake Student Recruitment.

Christine Furnell

EVENTS LIAISON - MELBOURNE

Christine Furnell is currently a Cost Controller for WSP Australia. Christine has worked for seven years in the same engineering firm in project accounting, management, marketing and events. She's currently working on a major highways project. Having family in Montreal, Christine sought out a role in the Toronto office and spent the last three years there as a Project Accounting Supervisor. This was an amazing opportunity not only to connect with my extended family and travel, but to broaden my industry knowledge working in another country.

Leon Chan

Leon is currently a consultant in the Private Client Services team at Ernst & Young Sydney, providing accounting and taxation compliance alongside advisory services in such fields. Although a recent Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of New South Wales, Leon has been with EY since starting his tertiary education. An exchange semester abroad at the University of Alberta, and an interest in the cultural and commercial ties between Australia and Canada, has cumulated with Leon joining the CACC as a way to continue his relationship with Canada.

Minh is a Partner at KPMG specialising in corporate tax matters for financial services organisations.

Jean-Etienne Leroux

Jean-Étienne Leroux is Regional Director, Transactions & Asset management on the Infrastructure team of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) since 2006. While heading the office of CDPQ in Sydney, he has a mandate to develop a portfolio of quality infrastructure holdings in Australia, and to manage specific assets within the portfolio, including the Port of Brisbane, Trangrid and Plenary Group, for which he led the acquisition processes. Jean-Étienne joined CDPQ in 2001.

Chris Warrick

Chris assists inward investing SME companies establish their operating presence in Australasia. Prior to this, as Managing Director, Multimap Australasia, he set up Multimap’s Asia Pac headquarters in 2004, before the global group’s sale to Microsoft in late 2007. He has over three decades’ experience in the IT and Management Consultancy industries, having worked in the UK, the US and, more recently, Australasia and the Asia Pac region. From 2002 until 2004, he was Development Director for Multimap.com based in their head offices in London. Before joining Multimap, he was founding Managing Director of TrackView Communications, a specialist supplier operating in the vehicle-, asset- and personnel-tracking arena. Chris is also a Co-Founder of Investrade.Info, a free collated and curated single channel market-entry platform of information, links and contacts for SMEs establishing businesses in Australia.

Alexandra Troutman

Alexandra has worked for Bombardier Commercial aircraft in Sydney for the past 10 years. Currently she is supporting the aircraft sales and marketing teams for the Oceania region; including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.
Born and raised in Sydney, Alex holds a Bachelor of Aviation Management from UNSW and a private pilot’s license.

Genevieve Dupuis

Genevieve is a digital marketing strategist with extensive experience in research, data analysis, planning and implementation of marketing strategies, fuelled by market and consumer insights. After completing a Masters in International Business at HEC Montréal, Genevieve started her career as a Marketing & Research Manager at a boutique management consultancy firm in Montreal, Canada. She then joined DDB Canada as a Strategic Planner, working across digital and social performance strategies for key accounts including McDonald’s, Volkswagen Canada and Johnson & Johnson. Genevieve moved to Australia in September 2016, where she joined The Hallway within 2 weeks of living down under. As a Senior Strategic Planner, she focuses on delivering best practice digital marketing and customer experience strategies driven by consumer behaviours. She works across key clients including ANZ Credit Cards, AstraZeneca, Google and Tourism Fiji.
