Brendan Clark

CO-CHAIR & CACC DIRECTOR

Brendan Clark is a Partner at MinterEllison. He provides specialist advice on transactions and projects in the energy and natural resources and infrastructure sectors. He has nearly two decades' experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, project developments, financings, commodity transportation and sale agreements and regulatory matters in Australia and abroad.
His areas of particular interest include energy transition, evolving markets for hydrogen and alternatives fuels and sustainable business projects.

NITIN RIKHI

CO-CHAIR

Nitin Rikhi is Principal Consultant at Dream Migration Consultants and serves as the Vice President of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) QLD State. As a Lawyer and Registered Migration Agent, Nitin provides specialist immigration advice on a range of business and individual immigration issues.
His focus is on complex immigration matters ranging from Appeals, Sponsorship applications and obligations as well as direct individual Departmental applications. Nitin heads mentoring and informational sessions on a range of immigration topics to new and aspiring Lawyers and Agents in the profession.

Brandon Roy

SECRETARY

Brandon Roy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who currently works in Suncorp’s Internal Audit group. Brandon has more than 10 years of experience in finance, internal audit and risk management. Brandon prides himself on learning and continuous improvement and strives to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys learning how different cultures operate in a professional and non-professional environment, travelling, sports and he loves animals.

John Williams

HONOURARY MEMBER

John Williams was appointed Trade Commissioner for Canada in Queensland in July 2013, the first time the Canadian government has had someone based north of the Tweed. John works with his colleagues in Sydney and Canberra, supporting Canadian companies to develop business in Australia, and increasingly supporting Australian companies seeking to establish a presence in Canada.

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) helps companies navigate the complexities of international markets.

DENNY SURJAATMADJA

HONOURARY MEMBER

Denny has more than a decade’s experience in trade between Queensland and global markets, He represents Trade and Investment Queensland as Principal Trade & Investment Officer - International Markets. Denny is currently responsible for market development in North America and Korea. He develops & implements business plans for these territories, conducts research on international business opportunities, and maintains productive partnerships with government, peak bodies, and commercial clients & investors. Denny is passionate about international collaboration & relations, and technology & innovation. He is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Lesley Rogan

Visa Application Australia

Lesley is the founder of Visa Application Australia, an international student agency specialising in study placements, and student & graduate visa services.

Liz Tomkins

CREATIVE INDUSTRIES LIAISON

Liz Tomkins is a film and television producer based in Toronto. Liz works with Dicentium Films, an Australian media company that creates high-end genre content. Liz regularly attends international creative industries events such as the Cannes Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and the Frontieres Film Market. In 2016, she founded Middle 8 Media which is a boutique film marketing company specialising in international promotions and representation.
