John Oxenford is an engineering consultant and Senior Vice President of Titanium Corporation. He is a 24 year veteran of the Canadian Oil Sands industry.

The oil sands of Alberta, Canada are one of the most important crude oil sources in the world. By 2020 Canada will be second to Saudi Arabia as a crude producer.

This presentation will discuss the importance of Alberta's oil sands as a world crude source, the economic impacts and issues associated with proposed growth options.

John will also discuss the technology developed to extract minerals as a byproduct and the impacts for oil sands and the heavy mineral industries.
